Saturday coming, 22nd October, is the second Saturday of the 104th Championship of Ireland band contest in the Market Place Theatre, Armagh. The competition will start at 10.30am with the 3rd Grade Brass section with three bands taking part.
The afternoon contest starts at 12.45pm with the 2nd Grade Brass section with seven bands competing followed at 4.30pm with the Brass Championship section where there are five bands in the competition. The adjudicator on Saturday for the brass sections is Mrs Shoena Wade and the admission charge for the public is only £5.00 and £3.00 concession for the days competition.
